Château Pierrail is a family-owned Bordeaux estate in Margueron in southwestern France, centered around a picturesque 17th-century château set amid a landscaped park and traditional French gardens, and owned by the Demonchaux family since 1970. The estate’s roughly 90-hectare vineyard sprawls over sunny, clay-limestone slopes with a south-east exposure, where classic Bordeaux varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sauvignon Gris are cultivated with environmentally respectful practices and limited yields certified for High Environmental Value (HVE). Château Pierrail produces a diverse range of Bordeaux Supérieur red, white, and rosé wines, from fresh and aromatic bottles to more concentrated, oak-aged cuvées, reflecting its terroir and traditional winemaking approach.
