Isabelle et Pierre Clément are the heart and hands behind Domaine de Châtenoy, a historic family-owned estate in the Menetou-Salon appellation of France’s Loire Valley, where the Clément family has been cultivating vines since 1560, making them one of the region’s oldest winegrowers. Today Isabelle and Pierre, alongside their children Anne and Pierre-Alexandre, oversee about 60 hectares of clay-limestone vineyards planted mainly to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, farming organically with a strong commitment to sustainability and respect for the terroir. Their wines—elegant, mineral-driven whites and refined reds—are crafted with minimal intervention, traditional techniques, and a deep sense of place that reflects generations of expertise in this celebrated, historic wine region.
