Weingut Aldinger is a historic family-owned estate located in Fellbach, just outside Stuttgart, in Germany’s Württemberg wine region. The winery traces its origins back to 1492, when Bentz der Aldinger first planted vines in the area, making it one of the oldest winegrowing estates in the region. Today the estate is run by the 16th generation of the family, brothers Hansjörg and Matthias Aldinger, who continue a long tradition of quality-focused winemaking. The winery farms renowned vineyards around Stuttgart—including the flagship Untertürkheimer Gips—where distinctive soils and a favorable microclimate produce wines with depth and minerality. With a philosophy of careful vineyard work, reduced yields, and precise cellar practices, Aldinger crafts elegant expressions of both regional varieties such as Riesling, Lemberger (Blaufränkisch), and Trollinger, as well as international grapes like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, helping establish Württemberg as one of Germany’s most exciting wine regions.
